Attributes of God -- Day 23

Faithful -- God is always true to His promises.  He cannot lie.  He can never draw back from His promises of blessing or of judgment.  Since He cannot lie, He is totally steadfast to what He has spoken.

Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; 

he is the faithful God, 

keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations 

of those who love him and keep his commandments. 

Deuteronomy 7:9

... if we are faithless,
   he remains faithful,
   for he cannot disown himself.
