Finding the Sacred in the Everyday

We anxiously counted down the days until her arrival.

And celebrated the minute we spied her off the plane.  Hugs, tears, and more hugs all around.

We soaked up the precious presence of this very, very dear one.

Sipping coffee, eating sweets, chatting, shopping, reading, walking, riding, exploring.

Finding the sacred in the everyday.

Hugging, giggling, and connecting on a deep, heart level.  Becoming Sisterchicks.

Cherishing each moment as they pass quickly by.

Relishing the holy in the mundane.

"One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind.  Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord."  Romans 14:5-6a (NIV)

"...Not a day goes by without His unfolding grace..."  2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (MSG)
