We recently went on a trip that included a visit to Cade's Cove in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, TN.
Though they had a detailed informational booklet about the families who lived in Cade's Cove, I still wonder about them as I wander through their abandoned houses, churches, fields, and farms.
Honestly, it makes me yearn for a simpler time. Though I know that if these walls could talk, the people who lived here would describe their lives as anything but simple.
Waxing poetic again, I am.
