Big girls have slumber parties!
For her birthday celebration, Cadey requested a slumber party. Daddy and I weren't so much thrilled with that option. But, we caved.
We had a few girls over for dinner, cake, movies, and a slumber party. Don't know why it's called a SLUMBER party or a SLEEP over... Not much slumber or sleep occurs...
Anyway the girls had fun and, actually, we did too!

Happy Anniversary, Smoochie!
Happy Birthday, Cadey!
Dearest Cadey,
Today, you turn six! I cannot believe how fast the time has gone. Daddy and I have so enjoyed watching you learn and grow. We are so excited to see how God is going to grow you as His princess! We are blessed and honored to be your parents and wish you the happiest birthday. We love you!!

Bittersweet...
June? Gone...
June marked our first official full month with the kids out of school. We've spent some time at the beach, lots of time at the YMCA's pool, and played a lot with our friends.
The kids have also enjoyed a week at VBS, where the theme was Outer Space. Cadey came home one afternoon and said, "We have to dress up in costumes tomorrow." Swell! So, Daddy The Great made two REALLY cool astronaut helmets -- in about 15 minutes. Thank God he is so crafty! (Now I see where Cadey got it!)
We've also enjoyed some veggies from our garden: green beans, and one tomato. All in all, a pretty good month! Enjoy the photos...
